Philip V. Moyles, Jr. serves as Co-President of EPIC and is on the firm’s Executive Committee. He is also the President of EPIC’s Financial Services division and the CEO of Vanbridge, a firm he founded in 2008, which is an EPIC company.
As Co-President of EPIC, Mr. Moyles’ focus is on strategic growth, carrier and market relationships and placement strategies. Alongside his responsibilities at the firm-wide level, he continues to lead and expand EPIC’s Financial Services division, as well as drive growth within the upper middle market and large risk sectors. Mr. Moyles’ leadership in the alternative asset management space is pivotal in expanding EPIC’s presence in new markets and driving its overall success.
Prior to joining EPIC, Mr. Moyles was an Executive Vice President and CEO of the Americas for Marsh. During a twenty-year career at Marsh, he was head of Global Products and Services, had responsibility for the managing general underwriting platform of the firm (VICTOR), led the company’s industry specialties and distribution efforts, as well as built the company’s Private Equity and M&A Services business. He received the Marsh & McLennan Companies Inter-Company Professional Recognition Award and led the formation of MaRI, the first sidecar created directly for the property catastrophe risks of corporate clients. He was on the Marsh Board of Directors, its Operating and Executive Committees and served on the Marsh & McLennan Companies Executive Committee.
Mr. Moyles is a Senior Advisor of A&M Capital Partners, Fox Point Partners and DIATOMS, Inc., the Chairman of Convergence Point Solutions and a Board Member of RXco. He is a former Senior Advisor of CVC Capital Partners, Sound Point Capital and Stone Point Capital, as well as a Board Member of Protective Insurance. He has also served on the Board of Overseers for St. John’s University School of Risk Management and is the President and on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. In addition, Mr. Moyles serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Portsmouth Abbey School, where he is the Chairman of the Annual Fund.
Mr. Moyles holds an A.B. from Kenyon College and has completed the Executive Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
